TH13TEEN at Alton Towers.

This ride is designed to scare the rider in more ways than just being scared of a rollercoastrer, it says that it's 'based on the discovery of an unearthed ancient burial site in an area of unexplored woodland known as the Dark Forest.' by saying that it is 'unexplored' it makes the reader think that anything could happen there and that they're somewhat unsafe.

The font and design used on the advertising poster is all around quite a gothic theme, the writing that the ride is based around looks like tombstone writing, so it doesn't give the ride a very friendly look to it as it is associated with death. the colours used- dark greens and blacks are quite harsh gloomy colours- ones that someone may associate with horror films.

'Built on the old corkscrew rollercoaster' this bit of the text would make the reader think that the ride hasn't been bothered with in a long time, that it is old and rickety and not safe.
