Stop Animal Testingthis is a very simple poster but its spreads a big message. by saying 'do you really' is a kind of biased question because its making the reader think that it shouldnt be that important, it would be less effective if it said 'do you love makeup?' but the use of the word 'really' is trying to sway you towards one answer, therefore making you think.
the use of the word 'love' will also make the reader think about how materialistic they are, because to admit that you 'love' something so trivial when faced with the actual situation seems a bit selfish. it therefore, again makes the reader sway towards one side and think about the actual campaign.
by using big bold letters to write 'stop animal testing' it will make people remember what theyve seen because its such a simple thing to remember and it will stick in your head.
the image is also extremely powerful, by contrasting a sad, dull black and white picture of a cute animal with a big bright picture of a girl wearing lots of makeup it shows people the cost of their image.
also by making the girl cry blood it will symbolize the bloodshed and pain that animals have to go through just for some people to be able to wear a bit of lipstick.
Good comments on the graphology of the text here. To do well with AO1 this year, you'll need to move beyond saying "the word" and then giving me an example. What word class should "really" and "love" fall into?
